Crypto For The Blind?

One of the core pillars of decentralisation and crypto currency is accessing freedom and accessibility for all. The question is, what happens if you don’t have the same access to the tools to understand the value of crypto assets or even have one of the sense of sight to read the White Paper, Satoshi wrote all those years ago.

It has come to our attention that there is a  group who have translated Satoshi’s 2008 White Paper in braille to give access to the visually impaired community. This is a huge step in giving accessibility to the currency valued at up to $1 trillion. describes – There is an initiative in the works to transcribe Satoshi’s white paper in Braille, a tactile writing system used by individuals who are visually impaired. The creator of the project explains that Satoshi’s paper has been translated into multiple languages, but has yet to be transcribed in Braille. The Bitcoin white paper Braille project is working with the American Printing House for the Blind, in order to press, bound, and distribute the copies to anyone who is visually impaired for free.
The visually impaired community represents just over 284 million people globally and it is important to give them access and understanding to Web3 technology.
The author has recently been in Hereford and visited the Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) which gives access to some of the best facilities and education in the UK. This includes a ‘state of the art’ fitness/wellness centre, thePoint4 which the author has personally attended and can recommend.
I will be making a recommendation to the the RNC that cryptocurrency education is important to ensure of equality of opportunity.
For anyone interested in accessing Satoshi’s paper in braille it can be accessed here at –
